Open Skype's audio settings. This window will allow you to change Skype's audio input from your default microphone to MorphVOX. If you're using Mac, click the three dots icon next to your profile picture in the upper-left corner, and select Audio & Video Settings. I tried this and it recorded everything fine, but I can’t hear the incoming sound (the other end of the call). Limited voice effects on the free version. Some apps need restarting. Ok.. In the spirit of sharing solutions with other Mac users out there, here is how I managed to record a Skype call on GarageBand using the apps LineIn and Soundflower:

I just kept messing around with the settings and then it worked perfectly using the settings below.
