Prototype takes place in New York City where a virus has been released which has turned the city in some kind of virus infested horrific place. The people are turning into some kind of mutants who are turning other people as well, military has been called upon to intervene and restore order but they themselves are vulnerable to the attacks. You will be playing as Alex Mercer who is trying to uncover the mystery behind this attack the condition he is in right now. The game starts with Alex mercer waking up on a gurney in a research facility called GENTEK Corporation, he has no memory of what happened before and why he is in this strange place and this confused state he starts out on his journey to find out what happened to him. The abilities that Mercer now possesses give him super speed, strength and agility and he also has the power of shape shifting, he can also disguise himself by taking form of any person that he consumes.

Though most PC games are played well with the precision control of mouse and Keyboard in the case we like Xbox 360 controller as it features action similar to a RPG rather than a shooter. The movements and combos that were thrown at us were easily performed using the controller and it was easy to do it repeatedly.
